What do I get if I win?

An electronic trophy that links to your winning performance. You can post it on your school's web page or your blog or social networking site, you can email it to your friends or your coach...even potential sponsors.

You can compete against anyone, anywhere in the world...with no travel!

I am a coach, an instructor, or a trainer. Why should I encourage my athletes to participate?

There's nothing like competition to motivate athletes. But tournaments can be hard to get to, infrequent, or inappropriate for your athlete's current skill level. On WORLD WIDE CHAMP, they can compete right now with other athletes of the same skill level, age, and gender. They can videotape their entries any place, any time. They will get scored and ranked after their very first entry.

It is easy to see that encouraging your athletes to compete, and then helping them to strive to improve their scores and their ranking on WORLD WIDE CHAMP, will be tremendously beneficial to their training. And if they win a trophy, you can embed it into your website to help demonstrate your credentials to prospective new students.

Who judges the videos?

World Wide Champ competitions are always judged by experts, never by the public. The spectators can view all the entries, but they cannot judge them. The judge's credentials are posted for everyone to see. Their scoring statistics are public. There are no mysteries. If you are an expert, and you want to apply to be a judge, click here now!

What if I am a beginner? Are there categories for me?

Yes. Every event is broken down into skill levels. You choose the level that you want to enter, so you will never go up against competitors that you feel are a poor match for your own skills.

How do I know which level to enter?

It's easy. Just browse the past competitions and see where you fit. You can see any or every video entry in any sport or art, any division, any age, current or past. You can even see every competitor's ranking and scorecard.

When is the next competition open in my category?
Now. All events are held weekly, so there's always one open. Every tournament concludes Sunday night at midnight (EST), and new events open immediately for entry.

When do I get my scores?

As soon as all five judges finish grading all of the competitors who entered your event, the results will be tabulated and posted to the website. You'll get an email when your scores are available, and a trophy if you have won!
